THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS
A MUSICAL PLAY
adapted by Douglas Post

based on Kenneth Grahame’s WIND IN THE WILLOWS

FEATURING the many talents of our own Youth Acting Company!
Thanks to everyone who made our production such a  great success–Audience, staff, and fantastic Interns!

This delightful musical adaptation of Kenneth
Grahame’s  timeless story concerns the valiant
friendship of the good-hearted  and  poetic Water
Rat; the innocent and curious Mole; and the  sensible,
practical Badger. What tests that friendship is the
arrogant,
wily and slightly crazed Mr. Toad, an
obsessive animal given to sudden  and violent whims,
like stealing motor cars and driving them recklessly
about the countryside.  Their thankless task is to save
Mr. Toad from  himself and then to rescue the magnificent
Toad Hall from the Weasels,  Ferrets, and Stoats
who have laid claim to it while Toadie was in prison.
A  tale of great humor and heroics, it also deals with
the  simple values and  responsibilities owed to one’s
fellow creatures…….Stay..and meet the actors  after
every performance!
