JOHN ZATORSKI (Joe Bob, Piano,
Musical Director) -- returns
to Tri-State after two seasons as musical director and keyboardist in the
hit musical, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE. He graduated from
Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981 with a degree in music education. Prior to that he performed with his own band and as a soloist for 12 years. He had his first gig at the age 11. After college he was band director at Dover HS until 1988; since then he has been band director at Wallkill Valley Reg. HS. Mr. Zatorski has directed and performed in over 40 musicals. His work with TAT includes TAT’s first production of TARRADIDDLE TRAVELS, CHARLOTTE’S WEB, NARNIA and FOREVER PLAID, to name a few. John resides in Sandyston Township with his wife Patricia. They have five children and one grandchild. They own a small farm and plan to raise fruit and Christmas trees as a retirement business. |
| BUD ANGELOTTI (Jim Bob, Pedal Steel Guitar)-- when
not in NJ, calls home the western slope
of the Colorado Rockies, where he's played for such groups as the Rocky Mt. Playboys, The Ben Dover Band, and the World Famous Aices. |
| DONALD LANE ( Lead Guitar)--Don is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in the Tri-State area. Music has always been a big part of his life--from when he was four years old playing his brother's guitar along with the radio up to the present--a musical career of fifty plus years. Highlights of his career include: recording for Pickwick Records at Capitol Studios in New York City; being a member of a country band in 1970 that won a Battle of the Bands competition in Wheeling, West Virginia, and performing four programs of his own compositions at WVIA Radio in Pittston, Pennsylvania. After playing in many different bands as well as fronting his own over the years, he now spends most of his musical time in his home studio. Nonetheless, if someone calls needing him to fill in for a night or two, he'll strap on his bass or guitar and hit the road. As don himself says, "Music is so much a part of who I am, I can't imagine life without it." don can be reached at moemusic@citilink.net. |
| BRIAN PETWAY (Jay Bob, Bass)-- studied Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston before returning to his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama to work with various jazz, rock, and bluegrass groups. He performed in several productions for Terrific New Theatre in Birmingham and productions of GODSPELL and SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival Theatre in Montgomery, Alabama. Brian now lives in Manhattan and plays in the Michael Yednak Trio, Sean Nowell Quartet, and Atarah Valentine's New Radio. |
| MARK RICHARDSON (Bob bob, Drums)-- is a senior at Wallkill Valley Regional High School in Hardyston, NJ. A natural musician, he has played drums since the fourth grade. At WVRHS, Mark has been a member of the band, orchestra and Pep band for four years. He has played drums in his school’s productions of ANNIE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and this year’s THE WIZARD OF OZ. This past October he took first place in the Sussex County Youth Orchestra Instrumentalist Competition. Mark will be attending William Paterson college next year, where he plans on majoring in music education, thanks to the inspiration of his teacher, John Zatorski, who makes learning fun. |
