THE ACTORS


GWEN WALKER (Patsy Cline)--is pleased to return to Tri-State Actors Theater  in 2006 in  the title role of the hit musical, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE. Ms. Walker starred as Patsy Cline to wide acclaim in Tri-State's 2003 Season and is remembered and spoken of often by Tri-State patrons. She was most recently seen at the York Theatre as Mrs. Morgan in ORPHAN TRAIN and as Mrs. Harris in HOW NOW DOW JONES. Before that, she played Mrs. Durfee in Goodspeed Opera House's LIZZIE BORDEN. She  toured the country playing the delightfully witchy role of Lady Beaconsfield in the hit musical, JEKYLL & HYDE. Regional credits include: Anna in THE KING AND I; Marian in THE MUSIC MAN; Sue Ellen in the second production of Ted Swindley's HONKY TONK ANGELS; and  Woman #2 in I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE. Gwen was also seen at Delaware's Henlopen Theatre Project as Woman One in SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD. She holds a Master of Music in voice from Temple University in Philadelphia. Ms. Walker is a member of Actors Equity Association.

SUZANNE HAYES (Louise Seger)-- returns to Tri-State in 2006 to reprise her acclaimed portrayal of Louise Seger in the musical, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE. She starred in the dual roles of Hippolyta and Titania in Season  2005's  A MIDSUMMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, by William Shakespeare, the first professional production of the Bard ever presented in Sussex County and our region. Ms. Hayes appeared for the first time at Tri-State Actors Theater as Louise in the hit musical, ALWAYS ... PATSY CLINE during Season 2003. Following her debut, she joined the company in the concert reading of Jay Boyer's FOR SOME REASON COMMA SHE LAUGHED. Ms. Hayes was born and raised in Texas, got her acting training at Circle in the Square in New York City and now makes her home there with her filmmaker husband, Michael, and their cat, Zeke. Regional credits include Essie in YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, Silvia in INFIDELITIES, and Sorrell Bliss in HAY FEVER. New York credits include Trinculo in THE TEMPEST and Henry VI in HENRY VI, Parts 1, 2, & 3 for Judith Shakespeare at the Jose Quintero Theatre as well as appearing recently in VITAL SIGNS, the one-act festival of plays at the Vital Theater Co., NYC. She received a Best Actress Award at the 2000 Brooklyn Film Festival for THE SPIRAL, directed by her husband, Michael. She has also been seen in numerous commercials over the years and is thrilled to be doing Louise again at Tri-State Actor's Theater. Ms. Hayes is a member of Actors Equity Association.

JESSICA ARNOLD (Jessie Bob, Keyboards, Musical Director)--  returns to Tri-State as musical director and keyboardist for the hit show, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE.  Her work with TAT includes Tri-State's 2005 Children's Theater production of the musical adaptation of NARNIA, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. In addition she has been music director for other shows, including Cornerstone Theatre's MAN OF LA MANCHA.  She is a music major at Seton Hall University, and is a native of Wantage Township, where her family still resides


BUD ANGELOTTI (Jim Bob, Pedal Steel Guitar)-- Returns to Tri-State for the second time as steel guitarist in Tat's revival of the hit musical, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE. When not in NJ,  Mr. Angellotti calls the western slope of the Colorado Rockies home , where he has played for such groups as the Rocky Mt. Playboys, The Ben Dover Band, and the World Famous Aces.



KYLE KUDASIK (Billy Bob, Guitar)--is a 31 year old guitarist, originally from Pine Island, N.Y., with 18 years' experience playing Rock, Blues and Country.  Kyle has spent the last six years with the band, Malfunction Junction, whose venues range from local bars to outdoor festivals.


BARRY WIESENFELD(Jay Bob, Bass)-- Barry began studying the  piano at the age of six, expanding later to the flute, guitar and voice.  He fell in love with the bass in his late teens.  His performing/recording credits include Folk, Rock, Country, Celtic Classical, Jazz, Big-Band and Broadway genres, jingles, radio, and TV.  His live appearances include Carnegie Hall, The PNC(Garden State) Art Center, Westbury Music Fair, NYC Parks Concert Series, cabarets and festivals.  He has toured in the U.S., Europe, and South America. He has shared the stage with, among others, the Chieftains, Dan Seals, the Association and Tommy Makem. His own trio, Circle's End, won the title, "Vocal Group of the Year, 1998" awarded by the New Jersey Country Music Association.  A resident of the Hudson Valley, he is a nationally published author.  Between gigs, Mr. Wiesenfeld teaches bass and music theory, writes and communes with nature.


KEN SWINKIN (Bob Bob, Drums)-- Ken Swinkin has been playing drums since he was 4. He started playing for professional theater productions in high school. Since then he has been involved with productions in New York City, in regional theaters, and on national tours. He toured the country with THE MUSIC MAN, STAND BY YOUR MAN: THE TAMMY WYNETTE STORY, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. In NYC he did a school tour of DUKE ELLINGTON'S SOPHISTICATED LADIES. A few years back he played for ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE in Lake Placid, New York. He is happy to be playing for the show again at Tri-State Actors Theater.


JEREMY STEVENS (Ray Bob, Fiddle)--performs on and composes for a variety of stringed instruments, and has had the opportunity to work with bluegrass, celtic, folk, country, rock, classical, jazz, and theater groups both in New Jersey and Colorado. Mr. Stevens is also a "Board Certified Music Therapist and works musically with individuals with a variety of disabilities, illnesses and needs.  He is a graduate of the r. Stockton College of NJ and Naropa University.

PAUL MEACHAM (Director)-- P Meacham will stage Tri-State's 2006 revival of the hit musical, ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE. He is the founder and artistic director of Tri-State Actors Theater,  for which he has directed many productions, including A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, the first professional production of a Shakespearean play ever presented in the region. He has directed and appeared professionally as an actor for over thirty-five years. Mr. Meacham performed Off-Broadway with Frank Langella and Diane Wiest in Arthur Miller's AFTER THE FALL at Playhouse 91; as Teddy Roosevelt in FIGHTING BOB at the Astor Place Theatre, ; in the long-running hit, THE PASSION OF DRACULA at the Cherry Lane Theatre; and was a member of the acting company of the Classic Stage Company for two seasons appearing as Toby Belch in TWELFTH NIGHT, and Teddy in THE HOMECOMING, among others.. He was a founding member of the innovative WPA Theater, where he acted and directed for five seasons. including writing and directing the musical, CHARLATANS and staging Tevia Abrams' AND NO CEREMONY. On television, he has appeared in commercials and on "soaps;" his films include PRINCE OF THE CITY and others.  He has performed coast to coast in regional theaters including Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Barter Theater, Pennsylvania Stage Cohoes Music Hall, George Street Playhouse,  Virginia Stage, Missouri Repertory Theater, and New Jersey Shakespeare Festival .  Since founding Tri-State Actors Theater he has appeared in I HATE HAMLET, A CHRISTMAS CAROL and the world premiere of ERICA'S LAST MISSION  by Tevia Abrams He has directed many of the play-readings in Tri-State's  NEW PLAYS READING SERIES.  He has directed, taught, and worked with student performers for many years. He is pleased to take part in the restoration and rehabilitation of the historic Crescent Theater in Sussex, NJ, the  permanent home of Tri-State Actors Theater. Mr. Meacham is a member of Actors Equity Association.
